Hillside to the Hollow is an approximately 300-acre open space and trails area between Hillside Junior High and Harrison Hollow next to Bogus Basin Road.
The mission of our Coalition is to preserve the Hillside to the Hollow open space and trails area for current and future generations.
We intend to promote public ownership of this area by encouraging the current landowners to forge a deal with the Foothills Levy Committee and the City of Boise. And we will work to convince the City of Boise to act now to preserve the area.
Several land owners in the Hillside to the Hollow area have plans to move forward with housing developments. We must act now to preserve this open space before it's lost to development.
