Many thanks to the volunteers from all over Boise who spent their Saturday morning helping us spread approximately 200lbs of native grass seed over a 30 acre burn area in the Hillside to the Hollow open space area.

Below coalition member Randy Eardley gives a introductory talk to volunteers.

After a good climb to the top of the burn area, volunteers were split up into groups to spread and rake in the native grass seed.

Coalition members and volunteers rake in the seed. Despite the hard work, a good time was had by all on this beautiful Saturday morning.

A special thanks to Students from Boise High School who worked hard for a noble cause. Their cheerfulness and motivation inspired us all.
